The title "Royal House SUPPLIER" was introduced in 1815 by King William I and is one of the oldest and most prestigious royal titles in the Netherlands. This distinction gives the right to companies which have this honor, to add to the company logo the royal emblem, mentioning "The decision of the Royal Court."

The kind and queen give this title to small and medium enterprises that have a leading role in the region and industry they belong to.

Companies that get this title must meet certain strict criteria:

  • to have at least 100 years,
  • to be 100% Dutch,
  • their owners must have a perfect image and impeccable behavior throughout the company's history,
  • to be strong and financially healthy.

Jacob Hooy wears with pride, honor and respect this title since 1993, being one of only 383 companies in the Netherlands that can display the royal emblem.
